Our story begins in 1993 in the garage of Heiko Müller's parents. Markus Riese and Heiko Müller's love for bicycles led to the creation of what is now a gigantic brand. The pair, who have formed a strong friendship to this day, initially created a folding bicycle, which they named Birdy. Today, Riese&Müller has become one of the market leading brands in the field of electric and cargo bicycles. They started producing electric bicycles in 2013. Their main task is continuous development and the creation of a better cycling future.

How to use the bike:

We recommend this bike primarily for hiking or everyday use. Thanks to the geometry, we can comfortably ride long distances without back pain. Due to its equipment, it can stand up to any time of day and weather, so it depends only on us when we jump into the saddle.

About the motor:

The fastest Bosch motor. The 45 km/h version of the fourth generation Performance Line drive unit. The maximum 85 Nm of assistance can deliver 340% of human power in this motor. The lightweight, 2.9 kg motor can be driven completely without resistance, so we can easily drive our bike even with the assistance switched off or with a discharged battery. Attention! Since this motor assists up to 45 km/h, the bike belongs to the S-pedelec category, which is subject to the rules for motorized bicycles. Be sure to check the rules before purchasing, or ask our colleagues for help with information!

The display:

The most compact display from Bosch. Despite its small size, it has a lot of knowledge. The shock, dust and water resistant display is held in place by powerful magnets even on poor quality roads, but if needed, it can be removed by hand with one movement thanks to the magnets. We can read countless data on the display, such as the speed of the bike, its charge, daily mileage, total mileage, cycling time, average speed, the energy we have invested and many other fitness functions. We can use the navigation available on the display after connecting it to our phone, which we can do with the Bosch Ebike Connect application. It is important that in this case we do not get a map but navigation, our bike will guide us with a blue stripe on a black background. We can navigate through the many data with the controller on our left hand. Even after removing the display, we can view the data of our last cycling trip.
