KTM is a company with a long history that has gained its reputation not only by manufacturing bicycles. The first electric model rolled off the production line in 2009, and today the majority of their model range is made up of electric bicycles. The Austrian-based manufacturer is the strongest in the production of touring bicycles, and has repeatedly implemented epoch-making innovations in this segment, which were later followed by other manufacturers.

How to use the bike:

We recommend this bike primarily for off-road use, for sports purposes. Since these bikes are not necessarily designed for everyday use, we will not find, for example, kickstands, fenders, or lights on them. It is important that if you want this bike for everyday use, you will need to purchase certain accessories to comply with the Road Traffic Act.

About the motor:

The torque of the fifth generation motor of the Bosch Performance Line CX has remained unchanged, meaning that the new 5th generation motor is also capable of delivering the 85 Nm torque typical of the CX. The main change compared to the previous ones is the weight of the motor, which has become 100 grams lighter, so it weighs 2.7 kg thanks to the magnesium housing. The motor noise has also been reduced slightly, making the new 5th generation CX not only lighter but also quieter than its predecessors.

About the display:

The Bosch Purion 200 display has numerous new developments. The display boasts a 1.6-inch color screen and high resolution, which ensures excellent readability. Its ergonomic design means it is located close to the left control lever, which allows for comfortable use. The Purion 200 offers various functions, such as displaying speed, cycling time, distance, total distance, current assistance level and remaining battery capacity. The integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display according to the ambient light conditions. It can also be used with compatible additional displays, such as the Kiox 300 or Kiox 500. The Purion 200 is part of the Bosch Smart System, which allows you to activate and use digital functions via the eBike Flow app.
