Hercules is perhaps one of the most historic bicycle brands in our range. The history of the Nuremberg company goes back all the way to 1886, when their first bicycles rolled out of the factory. In the past, they occasionally started producing motorcycles and cars, but the focus was always on bicycles. They were ahead of everyone in the electric segment, presenting their first model in 1980. Since then, their range has expanded widely: from E-MTBs to touring bikes to city bikes, but they also produce compact folding models.

How to use the bike:

We recommend this bike primarily for off-road use, for sports purposes. Since these bikes are not necessarily designed for everyday use, we will not find kickstands, mudguards, or lights on them, for example. It is important that if you want this bike for everyday use, you will need to purchase certain accessories to comply with the rules of the Hungarian Road Traffic Act.

About the motor:

The most powerful (85 Nm) motor of the fourth generation of Bosch with Smart System. We recommend it for practically any use, but we can really use the system's performance on steep climbs. With the fourth generation, there is no resistance, so we can easily ride the bike even when it is turned off. At the highest assistance level, we get 340% assistance, so we can ride uphill with more than three times the human effort invested.

About the display:

The Bosch Purion 200 display has numerous new developments. The display boasts a 1.6-inch color screen and high resolution, which ensures excellent readability. Its ergonomic design means it is located close to the left control lever, which allows for comfortable use. The Purion 200 offers various functions, such as displaying speed, cycling time, distance, total distance, current assistance level and remaining battery capacity. The integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display according to the ambient light conditions. It can also be used with compatible additional displays, such as the Kiox 300 or Kiox 500. The Purion 200 is part of the Bosch Smart System, which allows you to activate and use digital functions via the eBike Flow app.
