Hercules is perhaps one of the most historic bicycle brands in our range. The history of the Nuremberg company goes back all the way to 1886, when their first bicycles rolled out of the factory. In the past, they occasionally started producing motorcycles and cars, but the focus was always on bicycles. They were ahead of everyone in the electric segment, presenting their first model in 1980. Since then, their range has expanded widely: from E-MTBs to touring bikes to city bikes, but they also produce compact folding models.

How to use the bike:

We recommend this bike primarily for off-road use, for sports purposes. Since these bikes are not necessarily designed for everyday use, we do not find kickstands, fenders, or lights on them, for example. It is important that if you want this bike for everyday use, you will need to purchase certain accessories to comply with the Highway Code.

About the engine:

The most powerful of the Bosch engines, turbocharged with the Smart System. This fourth-generation 85 Nm motor is capable of 340% assistance, which is more than three times the power of a human. With this drive unit, we can easily move anywhere, but we can use its power best on steep slopes. The motor has zero resistance, so it can be cycled without any problems even with the assistance switched off or with a discharged battery.

About the display:

The Bosch Purion 200 is a compact color display and remote control in one, which has been given the ergonomic design of the already proven Bosch Led Remote. The display shows basic information such as the current speed, assistance mode, or battery charge. This control unit can be combined perfectly with other Bosch displays, so you can even install a Bosch Kiox 200 or 500 display.
