About the manufacturer:

Hercules is perhaps one of the most historic bicycle brands in our range. The history of the Nuremberg company goes back all the way to 1886, when their first bicycles rolled out of the factory. In the past, they occasionally started producing motorcycles and cars, but the focus was always on bicycles. They were ahead of everyone in the electric segment, presenting their first model in 1980. Since then, their range has expanded widely: from E-MTBs to touring bikes to city bikes, but they also produce compact folding models.

How to use the bike:

MTBs are characterized by a solid construction and thick, 27.5” and 29″ wheels, which make them suitable for off-road cycling, but these bikes are not optimal for long-distance road travel. They do not have a luggage rack or kickstand, and their retrofitting is not always possible.

About the engine:

The most powerful of the Bosch engines, turbocharged with the Smart System. This fourth-generation 85 Nm motor is capable of 340% assistance, which is more than three times the power of a human. This drive unit can easily go anywhere, but its power is best used on steep climbs. The motor has zero resistance, so it can be cycled without any problems even with the assistance turned off or the battery flat.
